Adorned in Love Styled Shoot at Ebell of Long Beach

Brought to life by the talented Marissa Ringe of Revel Petals, this styled shoot at the Ebell of Long Beach took inspiration from the great works of famed Austrian artist, Gustav Klimt.

In Klimt’s most popular paintings, like “The Kiss” and “The Virgins”, we see a romance and sensuality that are at once innocent and transformative, qualities often shared by the milestone of a wedding, making his works the perfect inspiration for this shoot.” – Marissa Ringe of Revel Petals

In etherial flowing gowns, our bride and her bridesmaids were adorned in incredible details such as gold leafing, a lavender floral crown, and a unique floral corsage that extended over the shoulder of the stunning bridesmaid’s Joanna August dress. The gorgeous array of purple, pink, and cream blooms used throughout the design were a lovely contrast to the soft blush and cream gowns, creating a garden-chic vibe that any modern bride would love.

For the ceremony, the Ebell‘s mosaic tiled courtyard was transformed into a delightful garden fete. Mix-matched chairs and benches faced a ceremony site that featured a backdrop full of lush greenery and a breathtaking bride in a two piece dress ensemble by Loho Bride,  paired with a gleaming gold hair piece by Heart of Gold Designs.

The reception table was filled with soft textures and gold details, surrounded by the rich wainscoting and elegant light fixtures of the Ebell‘s distinguished ballroom. The table numbers and gold accents paid direct homage to Klimt’s work while a beautiful centerpiece overflowing in beautiful flowers tied the garden-chic vibe into the table design. Sweet E’s Bakeshop created a jaw dropping three tiered wedding cake with a strip of gold painted around each layer and topped with fresh blooms.

1.5 Rhum Agricole Blanc

3/4 St George spiced pear liqueur

1/4 Campari

2 dashes Bar Keep Saffron Bitters

Stir. Strain. Serve up in a Coupe.

Garnish by squeezing a lemon peel over the top, discard.
