Although planned from afar, Lady Liberty Events effortlessly planned and designed our Chicago-native bride and groom’s destination Los Angeles wedding at Carondelet House with romantic decor that played off of Carondelet‘s rustic urban vibes to create a relaxed evening surrounded by family and friends. Rich berry hues with blush and gold accents made for an incredibly beautiful ceremony that carried over into the reception as well.
Carrying a vibrant bouquet of peonies, garden roses, tulips, and green foliage, our bride walked down a candle lit aisle towards a gorgeous fabric draped altar. Being a destination event, the bride surprised her groom with a life size cut out of a member of the family who could not be present – the couple’s adorable dog!
Following the intimate ceremony, guests enjoyed custom “Wedding Day IPA” brewed specially by the groom during cocktail hour in custom engraved pint glasses that guests could take home. Meanwhile the ceremony space was being set for the reception where guests would dine on rustic farm tables surrounded by the flickering of candle light. Lush green foliage topped with blush and berry hued blooms created by Heirloom Design House ran down the length of the tables, accompanied by beautiful place settings.
The fabric draped antique butler that previously served as the ceremony focal point provided the perfect framing for the couple’s sweetheart table. Our bride and groom enjoyed a decadent dinner by Tres LA from the comfort of their lovely table cloaked in blush sequin linen and fragrant blooms. The night concluded with delicious desserts and dancing, and onelove Photography was there to capture all of the unforgettable moments!
