Kate and Kevin said “I do” at Carondelet House last summer in a beautiful wedding with whimsical details. Planned by XOXO Weddings and photographed by Ken Kienow Photography, their burgundy infused nuptials perfectly complimented the rich tones of Carondelet’s vintage details and exposed brick walls for a visually stunning fete!

Kate walked down the aisle in a classic white gown with a sweetheart neckline and delicate pearl necklace. Her gorgeous bouquet by The Little Branch was loose in structure with lovely greenery, pale pink blooms, and pops of deep burgundy florals with ribbons cascading from the handle. Kevin awaited her at the alter in a sharp navy blue suite, surrounded by his six groomsmen, and the bride’s six bridesmaids on the other side. At the head of the ceremony site, our antique mirrored butler was adorned in romantic bunches of florals in the same tones as the bride’s bouquet, surrounded by tall glass vases with glowing candlelight.

After witnessing the bride & groom’s touching exchange of vows, guests were invited to grab cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and enjoy the beautifully furnished atmosphere of the front studios. Meanwhile, the ceremony room was being transformed into an gorgeous reception where guests would dine on our rustic farm tables arranged in a u shape, providing the newlyweds a perfect view of all their guests from the seats at the head of the table. Tabletops were filled with glowing candlelight in gold mercury glass votives, lovely floral centerpieces, and whimsical details such as spools of burgundy thread that elegantly displayed the table numbers.

Following dinner, the newlyweds shared their first dance in the front parlor as their friends and family lovingly watched. Cake and desserts were elegantly displayed on the grand piano for guests to grab and enjoy throughout the rest of the evening and what a true pleasure to be part of Kate & Kevin’s day!
